I am an executive director of an agency of 35 employees, and I'm able to get a PhD on top of being an executive director through Meridian. I was specifically looking for transformative education in somatic psychology. There were a lot of factors that helped me choose Meridian. I am interested in transformative learning and transformative education because it's not a slogan; it's not a tagline; it's an actual experience. I wanted to make sure that the program that I engaged in for all these years to complete doctoral work was fully embodying a transformative experience, not conceptual or theoretical. My experience has been very transformative and very embodied. I am now able to meet an increasingly complex workplace and world in a very embodied way, able to meet what I need to address effectively in a reflexive way, not in a reactive way, and that's through transformative education and through embodiment.
